Tanuki Sunset is a third-person longboard-skating game where players skate downhill as a raccoon named Tanuki on procedurally generated synthwave-themed roads.
Players skate from mountains to cities to seaside roads collecting points and performing tricks along the way. They upgrade and customize their outfit and their trusty longboard to better suit their preference and play-style as they progress.
Players must drift often to make tight turns safely. They must learn to perform cool tricks, jump-off ramps, and avoid cars and obstacles. They must push their luck close to the walls and edges to get near-miss moments to maximize their score, and earn more Tanuki Bits to spend on the store!
Enter a state of flow with a simplified control scheme, and additional game modes such as endless and additional trials.
