— CONTROLS —-

Arrow Keys/Numpad – Move and Navigate Menus
Z/Enter/Space – Interact and Confirm
X/Esc/Numpad 0 – Open Menu and Cancel
Shift – Dash

Left Click – Select a Movement Spot, Select in Menus
Right Click – Open Menu and Cancel
Scroll Wheel – Scroll Menus
—- BATTLE —-
Smack – Attacks one enemy
Special – Open menu to Special Attacks, all of which consume Swag
Cower – Increases defense drastically for one turn, regenerates 20% of Swag
Items – Opens menu to Items, one time use objects that may turn the tides
Pressing Cancel in the battle menu will give you the option to escape. You can only escape from
roaming enemies.
– STATS –
EGO – Health points. The target is defeated if Ego reaches 0.
SWAG – Skill points. Allies and enemies alike can only use skills so much.
ATTACK – Damage. Higher the number, the more Ego they deplete when attacking foes.
DEFENSE – Armor. Higher the number, the less Ego is depleted when being attacked.
SPEED – Agility. Turn order is determined by whoever has the highest speed down to the lowest.
LUCK – Crit chance. The higher the number, the more likely the attack will be critical.
SOCIAL CREDIT – Experience. Gained from winning battles, and increases all stats at certain levels.
DOUBLOONS – Money. Spend it at shops for invaluable items.
– TIPS –
> Buffs and debuffs only stack once. Applying a defense debuff to an enemy who already has 2 will
not do anything other than reset the timer, which is 5 turns.
> Keep up the pressure. You only win the battle when the opponent’s Ego reaches zero. Never stop
attacking for long.
> Enemies are powerful. Make sure to SAVE at Carl Bot often and HEAL at a restore point near him.
> Buffs and debuffs can be game changers. Play carefully against enemies who can either buff
themselves or debuff you.
> Heal often. Your squishy allies are prime targets to be killed if they are below 50% Ego.
> Enemies with high attack are incredibly aggressive and will slaughter your party in a heartbeat.
Fight fire with fire and defeat them as fast as possible to minimize time taking their hits.
> Enemies with high defense are extremely vulnerable to debuff items. Put aside your first turn to
take away their key strength.

– Jack of All Trades
LVL 1  – JACK OF CLUBS      – 20  – Attacks one enemy twice
LVL 3  – QUEEN OF HEARTS    – 25  – Restores all Ego for Beard
LVL 6  – KING OF DIAMONDS   – 35  – Raises all stats for Beard
LVL 10 – ACE OF SPADES      – 100 – Brutally attacks all enemies

Beard is an excellent brawler and is keen on both taking it and dishing it out. He
deals substantial damage, can sustain himself and increase his own effectiveness.
He is the core of winning every battle.

[[Sentro]]
– High Luck, Low Swag Costs
LVL 1  – FUNNY JUICE        – 10  – Restores a random amount of Ego for one ally
LVL 3  – GRADITUDE          – 25  – Drains Ego from two random enemies and heals Sentro
LVL 6  – RPG                – 20  – Deals colossal damage, but rarely hits
LVL 10 – DIE                – 75  – Either fully restores all allies or slowmodes enemies*
*Sentro’s Ego drops to 0 once this skill is used

Sentro is an oddball where anything can happen. You could play it safe and use him as cannon fodder,
but his real power comes when you dish out his RNG skills. All of them are cheap and can save you in
bad situations when the gods look brightly upon you.

[[Wolfie]]
– High Speed, High Swag
LVL 1  – GREENS             – 65  – Restores 70% of Ego to an ally, but damages them
LVL 3  – FEI                – 15  – Deals damage based on Wolfie’s Ego
LVL 6  – LIL’ HELPER        – 85  – Restores and raises max Ego for one ally
LVL 10 – RANDAL             – 120 – Restores 40% of Ego for all allies

Wolfie is the incredible support of the group. Although her attacks aren’t impressive, she is great
at keeping everyone in the fight and constantly fighting. And, when push comes to shove, she can
use Fei to deal plenty of damage herself.

[[Joey]]
– High Attack, High Defense
LVL 1  – INCANDESCENT       – 35  – Applies :frothing: to Joey
LVL 3  – POSEDOWN           – 65  – Removes all buffs from all enemies
LVL 6  – SMITE              – 15  – Deals more damage. Restores Ego and Swag for Joey if it kills
LVL 10 – ACRIMONY           – 110 – Attacks one enemy five times

Joey is the final member of the team that rounds it out. Also a powerful brawler, Joey backs up Beard’s
damage with his own flavor of rage and aggression. Unlike Beard, Joey is built exclusively for constant
damage and is best when he can constantly shred through everything he sees.
