Hiraya: A Bookworm’s Odyssey is a Philippine History-Based Visual Novel Game situated in historical Philippine Eras where a player’s role is to acquire pages of the History Codex by answering the quizzes in order to go back to his/her current timeline. Situated in the modern era, the dayuhang manlalakbay (heroine/hero) opens an unusual book in the library and reads it. The words may not be understandable, but it gives meaning and breathes into life as he/she transported back to the pre-colonial era in quest to find the pages of the History Codex, and save Philippine History once and for all.
