On the way home during a transfer, an unexpected incident occurs, dropping a penguin right in the middle of a sweltering African desert. Quite the predicament for our cold adapted mammal here.
One great technique a penguin uses to get around is sliding, and that is exactly how you’ll traverse most of the terrain. Be careful not to get too hot, or it could be detrimental to the penguin’s health.
Slide around loops, cool in water pools, and fly over lava pits to escape Africa and return to the familiar cold of Antarctica.
This was based on the game jam theme “What do you call a penguin in Africa? Lost.” but wasn’t done in the time constraints.

Performance
