This is a small prototype of a 2D Endless Runner for a University Game Design Course: DATT2300.
The Hero’s Tutorial is a Unity-made 2d Endless Runner set in a generic fantasy world as a sort of meta commentary on the typical tutorial or starting zone of most fantasy RPGs. The player character, or the hero collects gold coins as points, uses mana pots to charge up their powerup ability and deals with basic RPG enemies such as boars and bees.
Collect 100 coins to win. If you hit a boar or bee, you lose. Once you collect 4 mana pots, your mana bar is charged to full. Then, you can press Q to unleash your bloodlust for 5 seconds which allows you to kill the boars and bees to collect 10 and 5 coins from their bodies.
