The story is focused around the SCP Foundation’s development of new virus strains of SCP-008 to weaponize it within Area 12. In the mishandling of the virus – capable of a worldwide pandemic – their research site fell into a biological containment breach. In these events, the facility’s staff became zomboid entities.
