This is my first Game Maker project, a mostly-faithful remake of the classic Space Invaders arcade game from 1978 made in Game Maker 8.2. All original game features are included, as well as extra options that take inspiration from home versions of the game.
Note: this version currently only supports one player.
Controls:
Left/right arrow keys: move
Z: fire
Enter: pause
C: change color overlay
B: change backdrop
R: toggle reverb
F4: toggle full screen
