A puzzle game where you can (almost) only go forwards
DLB is a micro puzzle-game that was made in a week in 2020 on a self-imposed gamejam to test my acquired knowledge of Unity after a year of learning it.
It is the first game I completed, and although it has some obvious problems, I was pretty glad I was able to get something finished in that time frame.
Everything from the code to the art, the sound, the music etc was made by me.
The project was built originally for my brother so it has one rage feature which can make you restart puzzles you’ve already solved. Today I kinda regret this choice and would do it very differently.
Also, as I had initially believed it would be a very short game, it has no pause feature, but testing has shown that it is more of a 1h game to complete.
In any case, I hope you can enjoy this microgame that got me started as an indie gamedev.
