Our entry into the Indie Game Dev Beginners #003 game jam!
Theme was “robots”, so we made a 2D puzzle platformer where the core idea is that you can jump, and dash – at a cost. Specifically “pods” that you need to pick up on each level. You finish a level by eating a hot dog, so naturally we call it HOT BOT!
Controls
keyboard: WASD/ARROWKEYS to move, SHIFT / J to dash and SPACE to jump
controller: LEFT STICK / D-PAD to move, WEST BUTTON to dash and SOUTH BUTTON to jump.

About the development
All assets are created for this gamejam, except a font ripped off of dafont.com and using the default Unity-button sprite for the start menu buttons.
