Lalli is a hack-n-slash game set in medieval Finland. Using your sword and shield and the environment to your advantage, you must stand against the oncoming Swedish crusaders who have set their sights on Finnish shores.
While Lalli is a prequel to 2022’s Sotidrokhima, it is also very much a stand-alone game and can be enjoyed on its own.
LET THEM COME…
Your primary weapons are your sword… and your leg. These two can grant you an enormous edge over the hordes of enemies you’ll face, since not only can you slice enemies in gory fashion, you can use these tools to set off traps found in the levels.
Kick a pile of barrels on a batch of knights charging towards you, or cut a rope to unleash logs rolling on your foes, crushing them… and much more.
You will need clever timing and sharp senses, since your enemies number in the hundreds, if not thousands. The snowy plains will color red…
THE WORLD NEEDS HEROES
Lalli offers an original story, loosely based on a Finnish folk tale. To enhance the experience, the cutscenes are all voiceacted, but only subtitled in English… since they are voice-acted in Finnish!
The epic story will see you traverse many locations and face a multitude of friends and foes, from bad-ass Finnish warriors to evil crusaders. To top it all off, the game features an original rock/metal soundtrack inspired by Nordic heavy and melodic metal.
