You can play it solo but its recommended to play with friends (or random people through match making). The aim is to go down into the ‘pit’ and search for food and other items of use. These items can be exchanged for currency that can be used for other items to help exploration.Inside the various locations within the pit are monsters and nasties that will try to kill you and your goblin friends or steal the food you have successful found. There are also various traps that can hurt the you or even kill you.You have the ability to run (but you have limited stamina, jump and grabs items to use to help you in your exploration. You each have 4 item slots that you can store items in (unless they are too big for your goblin pockets). You also have the ability to eat certain items that will give you a buff. Lastly you can throw most items to use as a weapon or distraction.The overall aim is to feed the ‘King Queen’ Goblin and keep them sated. If you manage to deliver enough food they will let you go down and explore into the pit again. Only they get hungrier eat time making the amount you need to feed them higher and the challenge increases with each successful feeding.You will also find at the home base a helpful store sales goblin who will sell you items like extra fire torches, magical lanterns and other useful items. There is also a merchant who can sell you special communication stones for the right price!So be daring and explore the Pit because the King Queen Goblin is hungry and needs feeding!
