Princess Shall Prevail is a pseudo 8-bit, top-down hack-and-slash game that takes heavy influence from the genre’s third-person contemporaries and a bit of influence from scrolling shoot-em-ups. Like how many players approach the modern hack-and-slash genre, players will be dodging and timing their attacks in this game accordingly. There are also features and mechanics unique to this retro-twist to the genre that make it a game of its own.Beyond the game’s normal mode of play, a randomizer mode is also available to play for players who want an extra challenge or varied subsequent playthroughs.
