Different chess rulesIn this version of chess the units don’t instantly take each other out. They have a health pool that must be depleted by attacks before they die. You can heal your troops to keep them alive.Control a squad of chess piecesThe traditional chess pieces like kings, bishops, rooks etc. all move similar to usual chess. You control where they go but they automatically attack opponents on their own. There are also new chess pieces such as: The crossbow and warlock are ranged units that shoot projectiles from afar. The wolf and bear are beasts that deal heavy damage with claws and bites.Hidden lootFind treasures and loot gold, potions and powerful weapons. Distribute gear to your characters to increase their strength and armor. At the start of each level you can add a new chess piece to your group. Select units that work together to maximize different synergies and skill sets.Magical healing spellsTry to keep your army alive through the dungeon. Heal your units with spells and potions and move your chess pieces out of harm’s way. The game only saves after a level is completed, then any pieces that have died are permanently dead. Make sure to protect your King, if he dies it’s checkmate.
